ECO Canada is looking for performance-driven individuals to join the Professional Services team.

While each member of ECO Canada has individual responsibilities, we take a team-based approach.

Everyone is encouraged to develop and take ownership of his/her ideas and to see them through from concept development to completion, collaborating with key stakeholders as required. This role presents a unique opportunity to work in various areas, including program coordination, stakeholder engagement, project management, proposal writing, and more.

**Responsibilities**
- Assisting in the development, implementation, and monitoring of assigned environmental programs, proposals, and projects.
- Supporting the execution of ECO Canada’s Indigenous training (BEAHR) program.
- Performing technical and administrative duties in the execution of the BEAHR program activities including coordination with the trainers, participants, Indigenous Communities.
- Tracking the budget and expenses, liaising with service providers and providing monthly dashboards with a summary of program activities, budget, and expenses.
- Supporting the research, writing, editing, formatting, and proofreading of technical documents for reports, proposals, and concept papers.
- Developing new partnerships with communities, industry, academia, and funders.
- Exploring and developing new concepts and business opportunities.
- Providing administrative support for the planning and execution of events and promotional activities.
- Developing and updating templates, procedural documents, and client-facing reports.
- Other program/project support as needed.

**Qualifications and Education**
- Graduate of a post-secondary program. Background in Environmental Science/Studies program, business administration, Indigenous relations or similar will be an asset.
- Proficient computer skills and experience with MS Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Experience in working with Indigenous Peoples, including programming and community engagement will be an asset.
- Project Management experience.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Skilled at connecting with people and developing meaningful relationships.
- Demonstrated ability in technical writing, such as reports, proposals, etc.
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple competing tasks and priorities.
- Exceptional organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Excellent reading, writing, and editing skills.
- Ability to research, evaluate, and interpret data accurately and efficiently.
- Works well in a collaborative, team environment.
- Well-developed work ethic, capable of executing activities independently.
- Up to date with the latest environment and sustainability topics.
- EP, EPt or other relevant professional designations considered an asset.
- Fluency in a second language is not required but is considered an asset.
- Must be willing to travel including visits to Indigenous Communities as required.

ECO Canada offers the opportunity for a hybrid work arrangement (minimum 3 days per week at the Calgary office and the option to work remotely for the remaining 2 days).
