We are hiring full-time Food Service Supervisors to join our team at Tunnel Junction on Carleton University campus. Reporting to the Manager of the location, our Supervisors are responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the unit, working with the team on the ground, and ensuring a high level of customer service. This position is a great start to a management role within our team

Typical hours of operation for this location are Monday-Friday, 6:30am - 4:00pm.

**About the Job**:

- Supervise and direct the prompt, efficient and friendly serving of all food and beverages
- Direct staff to complete appropriate tasks; adjust tasks as required
- Keep location properly stocked to ensure the smooth operation of the unit
- Work quickly and independently to resolve operational issues when necessary, ensuring proper follow up with Manager
- Participate in all fields of administrative work, including but not limited to: opening/closing duties, cleaning checklists, tracking sales and service statistics nightly, and maintenance logs
- Coach and motivate staff
- Assist in the training and development of staff
- Ensure adherence to all of Aramark Policies and Procedures
- May perform other job duties as required

**About You**:

- Work experience in the food service industry as a supervisor an asset
- Solid understanding and practical knowledge of retail service business principles and service etiquette
- Effective team management experience
- A proactive approach toward day-to-day activities and shifting demands
- Knowledgeable with POS
- Exceptional interpersonal, and communication skills
- Perform well under pressure; manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent customer service skills
