**THE OPPORTUNITY**
- Responsible for the safe operations of the refrigeration plant.
- Maintain and operate ammonia refrigeration system, HVAC, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Complete routine inspection and testing of equipment and infrastructure to ensure proper operations.
- Monitor and maintain water treatment for boiler systems, chillers, and cooling towers.
- Document readings on plant equipment including boilers, water and gas consumption.
- Preform sampling and testing for Waste Water Treatment.
- Perform repairs and general maintenance duties associated with the refrigeration and boiler systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical breakdown relating to the utilities to ensure mínimal impact to production.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by ensuring the facility is operating in accordance with the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA).
- Assist other members of the maintenance team with repairs, preventative maintenance tasks, and minor building repairs.
- Follow all prescribed Safety, SOPs, HACCP, and GMP procedures.

**THE REQUIREMENTS**
- Class “B” Refrigeration Operator certification
- Experience within a TSSA-regulated ammonia facility
- Knowledge and experience on Ammonia Refrigeration Systems
- 3-5 years of experience working in a manufacturing plant
- Experience in food manufacturing industry preferred
- Ability to work weekends
