This position has primary responsibility to patrol campus, facilities and grounds; to observe, report and investigate incidents, ensuring the security and safety of property, staff and students.
Major Accountabilities/Responsibilities (Including but not limited to the following):

- Promote appropriate behavior and protect the welfare of students, faculty and staff
- Respond to the emergency situations, provide first aid, and alert additional police or emergency personnel as appropriate
- Help to coordinate emergency plans
- Write and submit incident reports as required

Education and Experience
- Alberta basic security training certificate and licensed through Alberta solicitor general
- Standard First Aid, Level C CPR and AED certificate
- Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience in security and/or related industry

Skills and Competencies
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
