**About the Role**

We are looking for a Data Scientist with a strong background in Python and a passion for renewable energy to join our growing analytics team. In this role, you will focus on developing data-driven insights and predictive models for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize energy storage performance, support operational decision-making, and contribute to the development of our AI-powered analytics products.

**About You**

You are a curious and driven data scientist with a solid technical foundation and a desire to make a real-world impact. You thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy solving complex problems with data.
- Required Qualifications:

- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics).
- 2-3+ years of experience in a data science or analytics role.
- Proficiency in Python and common data science libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy, matplotlib).
- Experience with data wrangling, statistical analysis, and machine learning.
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English (written and verbal).
- Beneficial Qualifications:

- Familiarity with energy systems, particularly BESS or grid-scale energy storage.
- Experience working with time-series data and forecasting models.
- Exposure to tools like Jupyter, SQL, Airflow, or MLflow.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and data pipeline tools is a plus.

**Your Responsibilities**
- Analyze and model performance data from BESS assets to uncover actionable insights.
- Develop predictive models to forecast energy storage behavior and optimize dispatch strategies.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and domain experts to translate business needs into data solutions.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable data pipelines and analytics tools.
- Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in data science, energy storage, and renewable energy technologies.
