Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. As a Landscape Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting in various landscaping tasks to ensure the maintenance and beautification of outdoor spaces. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Digging, planting, and maintaining gardens and flower beds
- Assisting in the construction of landscape features such as pathways, retaining walls, and fences
- Operating hand tools and power tools to complete assigned tasks
- Irrigating plants and ensuring proper watering techniques
- Assisting with the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems
- Performing general landscape maintenance duties such as mowing, trimming, and edging
- Removing weeds, debris, and other unwanted materials from outdoor spaces
- Assisting with the transportation and placement of landscape materials
- Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in landscaping or related field is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic landscaping techniques and practices
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in various weather conditions including heat, cold, rain
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Compensation:

- Potential for wage increase. After 3 months ths of satisfactory employment

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $21.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 28 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Landscape maintenance: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence (preferred)
