You will take the lead in the accounting functions, performing routine clerical accounting duties while adhering to established accounting standards:

- Verify and post details of business transactions, such as funds disbursed to ledgers and databases.
- Daily sales reconciliations (cash and credit cards)
- Collect transaction receipts from internal credit card holders, ensuring all transactions are accounted for and complete information is submitted to the president/CEO for approval.
- Participate in month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliation and analysis of accounts, sales tax computations, monthly reporting, inventory adjustments, and other accounting duties in a timely manner.
- Perform additional duties as needed.

**Qualifications**
- College Degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, or good combination of successful experience and academics.
- 1-3 years of clerical work experience.
- Passion for numbers and strong interest in accounting and/or finance.
- Knowledge of basic financial and accounting principles, an asset.
- Natural proficiency with math.
- Keen eye for detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks on tight timelines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, in French and English.
- Knowledge of Momentis an asset
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Aptitude to learn new systems.
