**Job Overview**:
We are looking for a reliable, organized, and hands-on _Shop/Warehouse Associate_ for one of our clients in Brampton. This is a key support role responsible for loading/unloading shipments, preparing parts for jobs and shipping, and keeping the warehouse organized and running smoothly.
- **Forklift license and experience is a must**_ for this role.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, communicates well with the team, and takes pride in maintaining an organized and efficient workspace.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Warehouse & Material Handling**
- Load and unload all incoming and outgoing shipments using a forklift.
- Prepare and package parts and materials for shipping to customers or job sites.
- Receive, inspect, verify, and label all incoming parts and materials.
- Pick, label, and organize parts required for upcoming jobs for technician pick-up (same or next day).
- Assist with returns of unused or defective parts.

**Equipment & Safety**
- Check shop tools and equipment regularly and report any required maintenance or repairs.
- Monitor and report low levels of propane, oxyacetylene, or other consumable tanks.
- Ensure forklift and other equipment are operated safely and maintained in good working condition.
- Follow all health & safety procedures and company policies.

**Inventory & Organization**
- Keep warehouse and shop clean, safe, and organized at all times.
- Report low inventory items or stock shortages to the purchaser.
- Assist with regular inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Properly store and label all materials and supplies.

**General Duties**
- Assist with minor shop repairs or equipment maintenance.
- Dispose of garbage, scrap materials, and recycling properly.
- Perform basic record-keeping of incoming/outgoing shipments.
- Follow all health & safety procedures and company policies.
- Be flexible and willing to assist with other general duties as needed.

**Requirements**:

- _**Valid forklift license with proven forklift experience is required**_
- Warehouse or shipping/ receiving experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to lift/move over 60 lbs.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
- Positive attitude, team player, and willing to learn.
- Valid driver’s license is required.

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
