I am looking for a pleasant individual with experience with early childhool education to be a privately paid educational assistant at my child's school. My child is in grade 1 and has a diagnosis of ASD, but is quite high functioning. Assistance is needed with staying to task and scheduling regulatory breaks as well to do physical activity when the work becomes overwhelming. Direction on regulation will be given by her OT and behavioral therapist. I am hoping to start out with 7 hours per day, Mondays - Fridays, but I am hoping the hours each day can be reduced eventually as capacity grows. The school is located in NorthEast Edmonton. This is a contract position.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
**Salary**: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
