Our Aerospace and Nuclear industry client is investing in the growth of the Toronto Ontario machining site including the addition of skilled labor with experience in the manufacturing and machining of hard metal components used in the aerospace, nuclear, and industrial sectors

**Position Description**

**Title -Drill/Hone Machinist**

**Location - West Toronto/Woodbridge, ON**

**Working Shift - Afternoon (4:30 PM to 1:30 AM) + Shift premium**

**Industry - Aerospace / Nuclear Parts Manufacturer**

**Salary - $20.00-$23.00 per hour**

**Job description**

**Experience**

• 5+ years in Aerospace manufacturing (preferred)
• Machining experience with high-quality metals (Inconel, Titanium, Aluminum, Stainless Steel)
• Experienced Aerospace machinist with attention to detail
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of machining processes
• Effective communicator with clear background check

**Technical Skills**

• Working knowledge of measuring instruments (micrometers, bore gauges, depth micrometer)
• Machining experience with TACCHI (asset for Drill Machinist)
• Proficient in drilling, honing, milling, and manual machinist techniques

**Education**

• High school diploma or GED required
• Certificate or Machinist knowledge (desired)

**Language and Communication**

• Effective English communication (written and spoken)

**Security and Compliance**

• Clear Background Records Check
• Meet Controlled Goods Program registration requirements
• Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident

**Additional Requirements**

• Ability to interpret written work procedures
• Ability to work in Canada
