Stouffville Village Child Care is looking for a cook to join our team. This is a Full Time position 7:15am - 1:30pm Monday-Friday (approximately 6-7 hour shifts)

Objective: To prepare meals for children in a child care setting in accordance to the centre's menu.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Organize orders for food buying for upcoming delivery cycle as per menus
- Maintain kitchen supplies and equipment
- Prepare meals as per center menu and requirements (including dietary restrictions and allergies)
- Washing all dishes and sanitizing
- Following York Region Public Health food safety requirements and ensuring a clean and safe environment
- Caring and friendly towards staff, children and parents

Qualifications:

- 1 - 3 years experience cooking for groups
- Food Handling Certificate
- CPR/First Aid Certificate
- Up to date immunizations
- Strong time management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Vulnerable Sector Screening - Clear Criminal Reference Check

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
