**Summary**:

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure compliance by inspecting the installation of material handling equipment and conveyor systems utilizing costumer standards, quality control/assurance methodology, and other performance metrics
- Provide Technical direction to installation teams regarding inspection failures for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and safety components of the system
- Recommend improvements to the installation process to ensure quality control
- Inspect and note any discrepancies for the customer teams to correct

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Must have 2+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical installation or assembly in material handling or automation field
- Must have 1+ years of experience with process improvement, quality control, and quality assurance techniques
- Must be able to walk close to 4 miles per day, climb over/under conveyors, utilize scissor lifts and ladders
- Must have knowledge of National Electrical Codes (NEC) and WHMIS policies
- Proven ability to understand manufacturing specs, layout drawings, and schematics
- Six Sigma, kaizen, cause and effect diagrams, statistical analysis, or equivalent is highly preferred but not required
- Experience in process improvement in the construction or installation field preferred

Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
