Cleaning Technician

Do you have a great eye for detail, and a working knowledge of cleaning best practices, products, and supplies? We are searching for a contract Cleaning Technician to join our skilled and experienced Cleaning team
You will be responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness in your assigned building and enhances the client experience with your dedication and a service-oriented approach to cleanliness and ensuring property maintenance standards are performed in a safe manner.
This is a full-time, permanent position.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The Cleaning Technician will ensure our Accora Village properties are clean and safe for our residens and employs to enjoy by:

- Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents,
- Garbage removal
- Restroom cleaning
- Maintaining building and common areas
- Maintaining and stocking the supply room
- Adhering to a weekly cleaning schedule.
- Performing any cleaning work that is requested by the Cleaning Maintenance Supervisor
- Assisting from time to time with the cleaning of vacant units.
- Performing other duties as requested by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Following Safety procedures in the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent accidents and damage.
- Keeping aware of hazards in the workplace
- Taking responsibility for their own health and safety and that of their coworkers and customers.
- Notifying the Maintenance Supervisor(s) of any building deficiencies or maintenance issues.
- Participating in safety training as required
- Exhibiting a passion for quality in work performance
- Ensuring customers always receive friendly, prompt service

**SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**:

- High school diploma
- 2 years’ experience working as a Cleaning Technician
- Excellent verbal communications skills
- Must be able to comfortable lift and carry up to 50 pounds at a time
- Working on ladders is a requirement at times
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Strong customer service skills
- As a condition of employment, must have a valid Criminal Background Check
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery

- Flexible and highly organized with a great attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and with mínimal supervision
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies

**WORKING CONDITIONS**:

- Physical effort is medium.
- The job description implies the performance of repetitive tasks, including bending and twisting
- Occasional overtime may be required to meet deadlines.
