This role is a full time position and would ideally be a year round role with us. We aren't opposed to having layoffs for those looking to relax and reset in the off season, but the reality for many on our team is that a year round role is what is needed to provide for yourself and your family. There might be lots of expectations needing to live up to a brand that has been around for almost 60 years, but we will do everything we can to make sure you get every benefit we can afford for the best work provided.

Job Functions:

- Report to the Service Manager and work with other technicians to clean, maintain and treat pools and spas
- Take water samples and add the required chemicals to keep pools and spas balanced and sanitized
- Work outdoors daily to keep pools and spas working at their best regardless of the weather conditions they face
- Skim, vacuum and scrub pool surfaces, waterline and surrounding equipment
- Ensure equipment is in good working order and checked weekly
- Assist with the opening and closing of pools (both in the service department and for rebuilds)
- Transition to shop work and spa work in the fall and winter if staying employed over the off season months

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience is an asset but we are always willing to train
- Care, dedication and commitment to the work we do daily and the customer we service
- Ideally have a full G license, will accept a G2 with clean driving abstract
- Able to meet seasonal labour demands and increased work loads during certain points of the year
- Needs to be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions year round
- Is able to take responsibility and ownership of their work, and provide value at every step for our customers
