Carpenters helper - Marine Dock Construction

An established local Marine Contractor seeks a reliable, hard working, enthusiastic individual to assist our crew in the manufacturing, servicing, and installation of marine decks and docking systems. The work entails varied hours, and is located primarily in the Burrard Inlet area. A valid driver's license is required. Experience with boats is an asset, but not required. Compensation will be competitive, please provide a resume and salary expectations.

Typical duties consist of; measuring, cutting, drilling, bolting, and nailing of wood decks, piers, and floats. Use of power tools and pneumatic nailers. Moving supplies, and making pickups and deliveries by truck. Assist in building forms and placing concrete. Being assistant watch on boats and barges.

Training will be provided.

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Port Moody, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
