Taxi Driver

**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Safely operate a taxi vehicle in accordance with traffic laws and regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting passengers warmly and assisting them with their luggage when necessary.
- Navigate efficiently to various destinations using GPS or maps while managing time effectively to meet passenger needs.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including fare collection and providing change as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the taxi vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition at all times.
- Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage, fares collected, and any incidents that may occur during the shift.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding passenger pick-ups, drop-offs, and any changes in routes or schedules.

**Requirements**:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in commercial driving is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse passengers.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Familiarity with local streets and traffic patterns is advantageous.
- Must be able to pass any required background checks or driving assessments as mandated by local regulations.
