**About the role**:
**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform data analysis and profiling using SQL, Power BI, or Python (Pandas, NumPy).
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines using tools like KingswaySoft, SSIS, Informatica, Talend, or Azure Data Factory.
- Manage data across SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and other databases.
- Map data fields between legacy and target systems and design relational databases.
- Automate data validation and reconciliation tasks using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Work with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud to manage databases and cloud-based data warehouses.
- Ensure compliance with BC government data standards, FOIPPA, and security best practices.
- Implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and data protection techniques like encryption and anonymization.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and security compliance.
- Hands-on experience with **KingswaySoft** for complex data migrations.
- Previous experience working in public sector environments.
