**In-Home Caregiver Position Part-time Abbotsford (using a Sit to Stand Sara Steady)**

**Assisting our valued clients with daily living activities 1-1. Reliability is of the utmost importance when proving daily living assistance to our senior clients**

**Assistance with things like**:

- Using a sit to stand Sara Steady (previous experience needed).
- Personal care (grooming, toileting, bed bath, dressing). Male client
- Light housekeeping(such as vacuuming, dusting, cleaning kitchen/ bathroom).
- Changing bed linens.
- Companionship.
- Help with physio exercises/ chair exercises etc.

**Possible visits could be**:

- Day shifts. Part-time 7am to 9am and 12pm to 2pm. Wednesday Friday and Saturday

Individuals seeking to make a difference work 1-1 with people in their community to provide compassionate care in people's homes.

**Qualifications**:

- Seeking staff who are interested in assisting our senior clients, 1-1 in their daily and or nightly routines.
- Ideal for retired or semi-retired individuals or university students looking to put their time into a rewarding line of work and help make a difference to a senior in their community.
- Previous caregiving and or elder care experiences either employed, volunteer or within family/ social network desired.
- Fairly flexible availability.
- 2 personal references.
- Police Criminal Record Check for Vulnerable Sector.
- Must be able to use a smartphone to clock in and out for payroll purposes using GPS (data needed) and to write daily visit notes.
- Reliable transportation needed.
- Use of cell phone and data to clock in and out (payroll purposes).

**Part-time hours**: 0-12 hours per week.

**Job Types**: Part-time.

**COVID-19 considerations**:
Covid training module, PPE kit, limited clients to minimize transmission of any viruses.
