Shipper/reciever

Responsibilities:

- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying accuracy of contents and quality of items
- Unload and load trucks using heavy equipment such as forklifts or crane
- Operate warehouse management system to track inventory and update records
- Sort and organize received packages and distribute them to the appropriate departments or storage areas
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of goods
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area
- Assist with inventory management, including conducting regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse distribution preferred
- Proficient in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts or order pickers
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot any issues with equipment or machinery
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading items
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to accurately track inventory and maintain records
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
