Vancouver, Canada JBS Food Canada Imports Full time

JBS is looking for an enthusiastic and determined Meat Sales/Business Development Associate for our Imports Business Unit. This position will be based in Vancouver, BC.

The position will be in developing a business relationship in lamb, mutton and goat sales to Ethnic Grocery Store Chains and independents nationwide.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Responsible for developing a sales and marketing plan for market penetration with key targeted customers.
- Understand the market trends and seasonal items to insure the customers are being offered the correct products and prices.
- Provide price quotes and cater as necessary to address specific customer needs.
- Frequent follow ups with accounts to maintain an excellent working relations with trust and confidence.
- Work with our logistics team to arrange deliveries.
- Ensure all orders are shipped out in a timely manner from the cold storages.

**Requirements**:

- University / college degree or diploma from an accredited institution
- Min 5 years’ experience in meat protein sales or similar roll
- Strong negotiating skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Fluent in English and Chinese a must

**Salary**:

- Salary and incentives offered are competitive based on level of experience
- Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision and RRSP

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
