**Job Detials**
**Position Title**: HRMS Change and Training Specialist
**Status**: 6-month contract
**Hours**: 37.5hrs/wk
**Faculty/Department**: Human Resource and Organizational Effectiveness
**Campus/Location**: North Campus, currently remote, moving towards a hybrid working model
**What you will do**
The Human Resources and Organizational Effectiveness (HROE) Division of Humber College is looking for an experienced, knowledgeable, and innovative Change and Training Specialist Reporting to the Manager of Change management.
**Change Management Process and Practice**:
- Establishes plans, both strategic and technical, and metrics that contribute to the corporate priorities, strategies, and annual plans.
- Conduct briefing sessions with key stakeholders, and communicates project change management milestones at p Levels, as pertains to division project leadership levels.
- Responds to high-level risks associated with change and provides solutions on escalated issues
- Oversees the implementation of change management solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders and identifying business needs
- Leads or participates in multiple projects by ensuring completion of project plans, specifications, documentation, and managing delivery according to project scope
- Owns change management processes and leads process design implementation and system implementation and enhancements. Responsible for reviewing assigned business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial, and technological risks. Lead major project activities such as User Acceptance Testing where required.
- Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency related to change management function that affects team members and vendors
- Conduct multi-tier change assessments.
- Develop and implement comprehensive change plans aligned to project timelines and supporting all major changes.
- Deliver the CM readiness report to support all major ‘go live’ decisions.
- Measure change management adoption where required.
**Training Practice**:
- Conduct training needs analyses to identify training needs and gaps.
- Develop and deliver training content and courses on new/changed features.
- Guide project SME’s in delivering training.
**What you bring to the role**:
**Education**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Equivalency: College Diploma + 4 years relevant experience OR Associate Degree + 4 years relevant experience.
- Change management training/certification (Prosci)
**Experience**
- Broad understanding of individual and organizational behaviour.
- Understanding and knowledge of the training and development body of knowledge.
- 3 - 5 years experience leading and delivering change management on complex IT projects.
**Skills**
- Broad understanding of individual and organizational behaviour.
- Strong ability to establish, build and maintain collaborative relationships with various stakeholders at all levels of the institution.
- Excellent oral, written and presentation communications.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to multi-task, effectively prioritize responsibilities and produce results.
