**Job Purpose**:
With limited direction and a thorough understanding of accounting principles, the Assistant Division Controller assists the Chief Financial Officer in managing the accounting workflow, providing accounting direction and analytical support to division management. This includes providing direction and acting as a resource to accounting and general administrative staff to ensure complete, accurate, and timely work.

**Qualifications**:

- An accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA)
- At least 7-10 years’ progressive experience, especially with a fast growing manufacturing company.
- SOX-404 Compliance experience
- Experience in Cost Accounting is required
- Master-level Excel skills and experience in all MS Office programs.
- Experience with QAD a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in an organized and timely fashion with proven track record of delivering on projects and process improvements
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Comfortable with team-based work structure; ability to remain flexible to change within the work environment and scope of responsibility.
- Able to work well under pressure and deadlines.
- Demonstrates initiative, is conscientious, and provides complete follow-through on areas of responsibility.
- Desire to build and manage a growing team.

**Job Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Directs all aspects of the daily accounting function
- Leads the Month, Quarter, and Year End close processes
- Oversees all transactions related to general ledger, accounts receivable/payable.
- Provides guidance to the Accounting Staff
- Maintains an effective system of internal controls
- Builds and maintains cost accounting models/standards
- Hands on operational support; effectively communicate with key business partners to manage inventory, source data, and provide meaningful analysis, as it pertains to the manufacturing processes.
- Plays a key role in identifying and implementing process improvement projects
- Supervises and develops accounting department; a team of 4
- Develops and maintains all necessary accounting policies and systems, including general ledger and financial reporting.
- Ensures that records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Prepares and reviews monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Reviews bank reconciliations.
- Leads year-end financial statement audit, mid-year audit, quarterly reviews and tax return preparation with external auditors.
- Understands and supervises all aspects of cash flow, working jointly with Corporate Controller including preparing and updating cash flow projections and liquidity requirements.
- Supports ongoing system maintenance, upgrades and enhancements of the financial systems (general ledger and support systems) and related reporting.
- Any other tasks assigned by the Chief Financial Officer.

Pay: $100,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
