**Job description**

As part of the development of our activities, we are currently looking for a Systems Administrator to join our team. The Systems Administrator's mission will be to guarantee the integrity and performance of all technological infrastructures, while ensuring the security, monitoring and evolution of IT solutions.

**Main responsibilities**
- Install, configure, and maintain servers and operating systems.
- Configure and maintain network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs).
- Create and manage user accounts and permissions.
- Implement and test backup strategies and disaster recovery plans.
- Automate tasks using scripts (Bash, PowerShell, Python).
- Monitor system performance and resolve hardware/software issues.
- Maintain system configuration records and troubleshooting documentation.
- Work with other teams and provide end-user support.
- Plan and execute system upgrades or migrations.
- Ensure systems meet compliance standards and conduct regular audits.

**Job requirements**

**Profile**
- Bachelor's (or academic) degree in computer science or relevant field
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position

**Skills and Competencies**
- A deep understanding of Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS) or Unix systems is essential.
- Knowledge of Windows Server OS and management tools like Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell.
- Understanding network protocols and basic troubleshooting.
- Experience in configuring and managing DNS servers, DHCP servers, and web servers.
- Setting up and managing firewalls, virtual private networks, and understanding security implications of networking.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM.
- Knowledge of web server configuration (Apache, Nginx, IIS).
- knowledge of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and managing database servers.
- Scripting skills.
- Experience with tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or SaltStack to manage infrastructure as code.
- Understanding of cloud platforms and services.
- Knowledge of securing cloud environments.
- Familiarity with Storage Area Networks (SAN) and Network-Attached Storage (NAS).
- Implementing and managing backup solutions, ensuring data integrity and recovery.
- Securing servers and systems against threats.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Team spirit
- Bilingual French and English (written and spoken)
