Payzant is a dynamic and rapidly growing building supply company that prides itself on delivering high-quality products/services to our valued customers. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Yard/Warehouse Manager to join our team and play a key role in our continued success

As the Yard/Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our yard and warehouse operations. Your role is crucial in ensuring efficient and organized inventory management, safe material handling, and timely distribution of products. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including logistics, production, and sales, to meet customer demands and contribute to the company's growth.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and supervise yard and warehouse staff, providing leadership, training, and participating in performance management activities.
- Maintain inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
- Coordinate required incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery. Specific to the Sackville location.
- Monitor and maintain equipment, ensuring proper functionality and arranging maintenance as needed.
- Enforce safety protocols and best practices to create a secure work environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational processes and streamline workflows.
- Prepare reports on yard and warehouse activities as requested, including inventory levels, shipment statuses, and productivity metrics.
- Maintain a clean and organized yard and warehouse space, promoting a culture of efficiency and professionalism.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance overall efficiency and customer satisfaction.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in yard/warehouse management or related roles.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset with a track record of process improvement.
- Forklift certification and other relevant equipment operation experience is a plus, but training is available.
