**POSITION: Director, Quality**

**Location**:Montréal (Dorval), QC

**Reports to**:Executive Vice-President

**POSITION PURPOSE**

Drive the development, implementation, and maintenance of our Quality Systems. Guarantee compliance with Health Canada, FDA, GMP standards, and company procedures across raw material testing, in-process manufacturing, and final product release. Lead the establishment of methods, procedures, and documentation to uphold product quality and regulatory compliance.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develop, maintain, and train teams on GMPs across the organization.
- Review and approve all new/updated product specifications.
- Oversee investigations and resolutions of non‑compliance, deviations, reworks, and complaints.
- Manage the full Quality System: SOPs, environmental monitoring, calibration, facility maintenance.
- Authorize and approve process and cleaning validation protocols and reports.
- Ensure timely completion of validation programs for DIN‑bearing products; maintain and enforce the Master Validation Plan.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance processes, inspection/test methods, materials, and product quality.
- Set department priorities and resource allocations.
- Serve as Quality lead during regulatory inspections (Health Canada, FDA).
- Maintain active Establishment and Site Licenses.
- Coordinate quality aspects of new product and client projects.
- Oversee Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), and Document Control.
- Partner with production leadership to resolve quality issues and meet urgent production requirements.
- Ensure finished products are released in accordance with specifications and timelines.
- Oversee technical quality agreements (TQAs) with suppliers and customers.
- Recruit, develop, and retain qualified QA/QC staff; ensure adequate staffing and cross‑training.
- Ensure training compliance—GMP, SOPs, health & safety—for all Quality department personnel.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- University degree in science (or recognized equivalent).
- ≥10 years’ experience in pharmaceutical or nutritional Quality leadership.
- Fully bilingual (English/French)—written and verbal.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and computer skills; high attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, time‑management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Resilient in handling difficult or unforeseen situations.
- Customer-service oriented; effective collaborator with internal and external partners.
- Commitment to Health & Safety, HR policies, and regulatory compliance.
