We’re currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented **Horticulture Planters** to join our growing team for the 2025 season and on

**Position Overview**:
As a Horticulture Planter, you’ll be responsible for planting and maintaining annuals, perennials, shrubs, and trees. You’ll work closely with our horticulture lead and landscape teams to ensure high standards of planting, design execution, and client satisfaction. You'll be part of a two person crew and provided with a work vehicle to access jobsite throughout the day.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and plant garden beds, containers, and planters.
- Identify plant species and understand their care and growth habits.
- Assist with soil amendment, mulching, watering, and fertilization.
- Monitor plant health and report any signs of disease or pests.
- Operate small tools and equipment as needed (e.g., shovels, pruners, wheelbarrows).
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces on job sites.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in planting, landscaping, or horticulture preferred (Minimum 3years experience).
- Knowledge of native and ornamental plants suited to the Muskoka region.
- Physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions (heat, rain, uneven terrain).
- Reliable transportation to and from the yard/shop.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Horticulture or landscaping certification is an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week
