**This role offers the opportunity to work with children and young people, particularly those suffering with symptoms related to ADD/ADHD, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, mental health issues, disruptive behaviours, family dynamics and educational struggles.**

The Support Worker performs any combination of the following duties:

- Passion and demonstrated ability to work with clients who have complex special needs.
- Ability to support and manage aggressive behaviors.
- Ability to build therapeutic rapport and follow prescribed programming.
- Ability to function within a team or in the community.
- Well-developed communication, interpersonal, computer and writing skills.
- Committed to your professional development.

**Job Qualifications**
- University degree or College diploma in a related discipline (Child and Youth Worker, DSW or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years' direct work experience in social services with individuals with autism, mental health, behavioral, and complex needs
- Vulnerable Sector Police Check (within 6 months)
- CPR and First Aid certification (current) Certification in a recognized Crisis Intervention
- (NVCI, SMG, training available)
- **Additional Requirements**:

- Must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated.
- G class driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle is required
- Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) and/or First Aid will be considered an asset.
- Child Welfare Check
- Valid G Driver's License (required)
- Personal Vehicle (required)
- Immunization Records
- Language: English Required
- Location: Orleans, Rockland, Embrun Prescott-Russell

**Salary**: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
