Company 3/Method Studios Inc.’s Real-Time Team is seeking an experienced highly skilled Lighting Supervisor with experience in Unreal.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with the Creative Director, CG Supervisor and Production team to develop realistic lighting solutions
- Oversee the lighting team and collaborate with supervisors in other departments.
- Guide the look and feel of lighting for each project;
- Oversee look development of CG assets and characters;
- Oversee and help optimize shots for rendering;
- Work in-engine and own both the technical and creative problem spaces;
- Understand game engines and artistic direction to tackle the challenges that will impact lighting;
- Collaborate with our Technical department to design and implement pipeline workflow tools.
- Conduct steps for review and approvals and ensuring the look meets the Director’s vision.
- Establish training materials, department procedures, helping to improve and develop tools, answering questions and working with supervisors, technical directors, leads and artists to find creative solutions for problems that arise.
- Help manage and maintain targets and quotas for the show.
- Conduct dailies for the lighting team and provide notes, along with creative and technical solutions.

**To be successful in this role, you must have**:

- Experience leading a team
- Excellent artistic skills, with a strong emphasis on real-world lighting/photography.
- Experience with in-engine lighting techniques and solutions (Unreal, Unity, Lumberyard);
- Demonstrable ability to communicate creative and technical thoughts and ideas;
- Experience at improvising and problem-solving;
- Comfortability delivering on an expedited schedule.
