Skid Steer Operator (Experienced)

CBO Earthworks is currently hiring skilled and experienced Skid Steer Operators to join our team for the 2025 season. We are seeking individuals who are precise, safety-minded, and capable of producing high-quality finish and grade work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate skid steers with precision to complete finish grading, site prep, and backfilling
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections and basic maintenance (lubrication, fueling, etc.)
- Work closely with foremen and site supervisors to meet production goals
- Follow all OH&S regulations and contribute to a safe and efficient worksite
- Support the team in general labour tasks as required

Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years' experience operating skid steers in a construction setting
- Valid Class 3 driver’s license with air brake endorsement
- Ground Disturbance certification is an asset
- Demonstrated ability to perform fine grading and finish work
- Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation to and from Head Office (Lacombe)
- Able to work long days outdoors and lift up to 50 lbs as needed

Job Details:

- Schedule: Monday to Friday 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM, Saturdays 6:30 AM - 12:30 PM, with additional overtime as needed
- Employment Type: Full-time, Seasonal
- Compensation: Competitive hourly wage with overtime pay
