**What YOU Will Do**
Control project management:
- Ensure that the joint venture’s management methods are disseminated, explained and followed. Propose changes they deem appropriate to the Finance and Administration Director;
- Maintain a constant connection with the Works, Procurement and Accounting teams to ensure the correct allocation of expenditures and thus guarantee consistent management;
- Prepare budget summaries for their site. Ensure that data and budget hypotheses are consistent.
- Ensure that the operating results are reliable by analyzing, in particular:
- the remaining expenditures, quantities used, key ratios and their evolution;
- the evolution of billing discrepancies;
- the operation disputes;
- the equipment;
- the outstanding orders;
- the staff and hourly personnel punch cards;
- accrued expenses.
Ensure the proper management of the entity by analyzing, in particular:
- the monthly financial report;
- the entity’s overhead (staff and operating cost tracking);
- the consideration of potential social and environmental risks;
- compliance with master agreements negotiated by the Purchasing Department;
- the various variance accounts (material, personnel, etc.);
Through the above-mentioned controls, act as an overseer of the joint venture’s Administrative and Financial Director and Project Management in general.
Advise and assist Project Management:
- Answer requests from Project Management to conduct analyses and prepare summaries in the field of management control;
- Conduct studies and analyses on their own initiative;
- Participate in skill management for all teams and lead training sessions on the essentials of managing and using information systems;
- Work with project managers to set and enter budgets into the system.
**What YOU Will Bring**
- Bachelor’s degree in management or engineering;
- Five years of experience in a similar position;
- Experience in the field of construction, an asset;
- Independent;
- Ability to anticipate and plan priority tasks;
- Good capacity for listening and synthesizing;
- Good interpersonal skills;
- Advanced command of English.
