**Position**: Prep Cook/Line Cook (Part-Time)

**Location**: Plant Matter Kitchen,
**Hours**: Approximately 30-35 hours per week
**Shifts**: No late nights, but some early mornings may be required

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare ingredients for menu items according to recipes and portion sizes
- Assist with light line work including salads, cakes, dishes etc.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the prep area
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
- Contribute to the development and improvement of recipes and flavor bases

**Requirements**:

- Over 5 years of experience in a back-of-house role
- Previous experience as a prep cook in another establishment
- Valid food handler's certificate
- Proven ability to work as a line cook when needed, with a main focus on prep
- Excellent time management and self-management skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong understanding of flavor bases and sauces
- Passion for plant-based cuisine and commitment to quality
- Professional attitude and proven experience in a similar role
- Must be able to lift up to 23KG
- Applicant must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Fluent in English
