**General Responsibilities & Duties**

**Daily Duties**:

- Sweep, mop, polish, and vacuum floors in all rooms (living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, etc.).
- Dust and wipe down all surfaces (furniture, counters, shelves, etc.).
- Clean and sanitize high-touch areas (doorknobs, light switches, remote controls).
- Make beds and tidy up all bedrooms.
- Clean kitchen countertops, wipe down appliances, and sanitize sinks.
- Empty trash bins throughout the house and replace with fresh liners.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms (toilets, showers, bathtubs, mirrors, sinks).
- Replenish toilet paper, soap, and other bathroom supplies.
- Clean and disinfect all bathroom surfaces.
- Manage keys for home, unlocking and locking home when employer is not home

**Weekly Duties**
- Clean and polish furniture and wood surfaces.
- Clean kitchen appliances (oven, microwave, refrigerator, etc.).
- Wipe down and sanitize kitchen cabinets and drawers.
- Clean interior windows and glass doors throughout the home.
- Wipe down window blinds or curtains as needed.
- Organize closets, pantry, and other storage areas to maintain tidiness.
- Ensure all items are properly stored and accessible.
- Change bed linens regularly (at least once a week or as needed).
- Wash, dry, fold, and put away clothes, linens, and towels.
- Ensure laundry area is neat and organized.

**Monthly Duties**
- Clean baseboards, windowsills, and behind furniture.
- Deep clean large appliances (dishwasher, washer/dryer, oven).
- Clean and disinfect garbage cans, recycling bins, and compost bins.
- Sweep or clean the entryway, porch, and any outdoor spaces (patios, balconies).
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor furniture.
- Check and clean the garage or any outdoor storage areas.
- Clean light fixtures and ceiling fans.
- Clean vents, air filters, and change them if necessary.
- Organize and clean seasonal items (clothing, holiday décor, etc.).
- Test systems (fire, alarm) to ensure working order

**Occasional/Seasonal Duties**
- Vacuum and deep clean carpets, or arrange for carpet cleaning with professional carpet cleaners, as required
- Assist with organizing the home for special events or gatherings.
- Ensure additional cleaning before and after hosting events.
- Clean and organize garage, attic, and basement spaces.
- May assist with running errands such as grocery shopping or picking up dry cleaning.
- Coordinate or assist with housekeeping-related purchases and supplies.
- May feed pets, clean their living areas, and take them for walks as needed.
