AccounTECH is a no-cost government-funded training program, designed in partnership with Retrain Canada to help EI eligible individuals transition into the bookkeeping and accounting field of employment. Classes will be in person from **Monday through Friday, 9 am-3 pm.**

The program is specifically designed to meet job-specific technical skills aimed at meeting the requirements for current job openings in accounting administration roles across a wide variety of labor market sectors.

During this program you will receive:

- 2 weeks of workshops on resume development, interview preparation and job search strategies in addition to individual career coaching
- 8 weeks in-class training with Re-train Canada on accounting work related skills and computer programs
- 2 weeks of work experience
- Connection to the market with dedicated support from Job Placement Consultant for three months after completing training

Expected start date: 2024-02-20

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
