Portfolio Manager

Industrial Alliance (iA) Private Wealth office is a financial and investment firm for businesses and corporations throughout Stoney Creek and the surrounding areas with over 500 corporate clients. For more than two decades iA Private Wealth has been helping businesses succeed and plan for the financial future. We are currently in a large growth phase in our organization and seeking a full-time Charted Financial Analyst to join the team.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Develops, executes and maintains compliant financial strategies by:

- Assist with building, maintaining and monitoring client portfolios.
- Prepare equity and product research for compliance.
- Prepare financial plans for both corporate and individual clients.
- Prepare equity and product research for client communications on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Preparing financial strategies and solutions that meet client goals and align with the firm’s objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Display a high level of integrity and professionalism in all interactions with internal and external clients.
- Being compliant with corporate policies and procedures and regulatory requirements, including continuing education obligations for all applicable licenses and designations.

Provide a high level of client service by:

- Responding to client requests, inquiries, and concerns promptly and efficiently.
- Presenting investment opportunities and portfolio options to clients.
- Assist with providing sound and appropriate investment advice that meets client financial goals.
- Adhering to all firm and regulatory policies by remaining up to date with rules and trading activities as they relate to client accounts.
- Assist with ensuring that all client interactions are accurately documented.
- Developing and maintaining a thorough understanding of investment solutions
- Reviewing all new client account forms and account updates.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
Education/Licenses:

- Post-secondary education in Finance/Business required.
- Charted Financial Analyst Designation strongly preferred
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC).
- Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH).

**Experience**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Financial Analyst role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft suite of products, specifically Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Experience with CRM software such as Maximizer is considered an asset.
- Experience with financial software such as Croesus is considered an asset.
- Exceptional attention to detail and data entry skills.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Exceptional professional communication both written and verbal.

**Salary**: $95,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
