**We are looking for an Occupational Therapy Assistant/Physiotherapy Assistant (OTA/PTA) to join our innovative and dynamic multidisciplinary team of therapists.**

**What you will do?**

Under the supervision of the therapist, OTA and PTA interventions may include:

- Stroke rehabilitation
- Functional mobility and transfer training
- Home Exercise Programs (HEP) to improve balance, strength and ROM for function
- Home safety, falls prevention, and energy conservation education
- ADL and IADL training to progress independence
- Cognitive/perceptual home programs

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Graduate of a Physiotherapy /Occupational Therapist Assistant 2-year diploma program (required)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong clinical skills and client-centred approach
- Excellent interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle and possess a valid Ontario Driver’s License.
