The Operations Coordinator plays a pivotal role in facilitating the smooth functioning of an orthotic/prosthetic clinic, providing vital administrative and operational support to ensure seamless coordination between staff and patients. This role is primarily focused on overseeing and optimizing the clinic's administrative and operational functions, with a strong emphasis on project management.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Oversee day-to-day clinic operations, ensuring that administrative processes are streamlined and optimized for efficiency. Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain office equipment.
- Task Distribution: Distribute tasks efficiently among the administrative staff to ensure smooth workflow and effective use of resources.
- Project Management: Lead and manage administrative projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with clinic goals.
- Administrative Tasks: Answer calls, greet patients courteously, and schedule appointments efficiently.
- Billing Procedures: Handle billing accurately and in compliance with established standards and guidelines.
- Safety Protocols: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and patient experience standards at all times.
- Patient Flow Management: Coordinate patient care throughout the clinic, including checking patients in and out, preparing treatment rooms, and escorting patients as needed.
- Patient Inquiries: Address patient inquiries and provide post-appointment assistance as required.
- Confidentiality and Privacy: Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy at all times, adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinic policies.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance clinic efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Additional Tasks: Perform any additional clinical or administrative tasks as assigned by clinic management to support efficient clinic operations.

Job Expectations
- The Operations Coordinator is expected to consistently provide exceptional operational oversight, maintaining professionalism and exhibiting strong attention to detail. Emphasis is placed on prioritizing administrative and operational functions to ensure all processes run smoothly and efficiently. Efficient task distribution among the front desk staff is essential for maintaining an organized and productive environment.
- Adherence to safety protocols, upholding patient confidentiality, and contributing positively to the clinic team environment are vital. The role involves efficiently managing administrative tasks, coordinating patient care activities, and addressing patient inquiries with accuracy and professionalism.
- Additionally, the Operations Coordinator is expected to demonstrate adaptability, effective communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. A key aspect of this role is leading and managing administrative projects, ensuring they are completed on time and meet the clinic's objectives, thus supporting the overall success of the clinic.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
