**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate mentor for Children and Adolescents to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in guiding and supporting young individuals as they navigate personal and academic challenges. Your primary focus will be to educate, inspire, and empower youth to reach their full potential through positive mentorship and engagement while exploring various activities in the community. Hours include weekdays after school and weekends, depending on client availability.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide individualized activities tailored to the needs and interests of each child with the goal of increasing self-esteem, demonstrating positive and healthy relationships, fostering independence and effective communication skills.
- Create a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive space for the youth.
- Engage with youth through various activities.
- Collaborate with parents or caregivers, as well as with the child's individual therapist, to evaluate, assess, and modify the activities organized as needed and to create a comprehensive support network for each youth.
- Implementing a collaborative approach designed to provide the children and their families with consistency and focus on their individual goals.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress for reporting purposes.

**Experience**
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents in an educational or mentoring capacity is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with youth from diverse backgrounds.
- A passion for education and a commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of young individuals.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
