**Job Title**: Inbound Operations Supervisor

**Reports to**: Key Account Manager

**Job Type: Full Time - Afternoon Shift 3:30pm - 12:00am**

As the **Inbound Supervisor**, you will oversee all inbound operations including receiving, unloading, inspection, and put-away of goods. You will lead a team of warehouse associates, ensuring that all activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with operational targets. A strong focus will be placed on achieving **key performance indicators (KPIs)** on an **hourly, daily, and monthly basis**, including productivity, accuracy, and on-time processing.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise daily inbound operations, including scheduling, unloading, receiving, and put-away activities.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of all incoming shipments in line with service level agreements (SLAs).
- Lead daily pre-shift meetings focused on performance targets, safety updates, and shift planning.
- Monitor WMS (Warehouse Management System) performance and accuracy of inbound transactions.
- Provide coaching, support, and real-time feedback to associates to maintain high levels of productivity and quality.
- Partner with Inventory Control, Outbound, and Quality teams to maintain flow, resolve issues, and minimize delays.
- Uphold safety and compliance standards across all inbound operations.
- Generate performance and productivity reports and use data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Execute on productivity and daily goals
- Track, evaluate and report performance and KPIs as it pertains to receiving, put away, inventory and order delays.
- Provide daily direction to Inbound Team Leads as it relates to day-to-day tasks in the Fulfillment Center
- Record and escalate process and performance issues as it pertains to your team.
- Utilize superior communications skills to motivate staff and develop effective working relationships with peers.
- Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.
- Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
- Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Ensure proper usage and maintenance of forklift equipment.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement activities and problem-solving initiatives.
- Conduct performance reviews for all staff within the department
- Any other duties and tasks assigned

**Job Specifications (Knowledge, skills and abilities)**:

- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a leadership role preferably in a 3PL, order fulfillment environment
- Strong understanding of inbound logistics processes and inventory management systems.
- Experience with WMS platforms and RF scanning technology.
- Effective communicator, calm and supportive in stressful situations
- Experience with distribution centre processes (receiving, picking, packing, shipping, returns, value added processing);
- Excellent understanding of warehouse operations and cost structures
- knowledge of applicable health and safety standards
- Superior planning and organizational skills; ability to multi-task in a busy environment
- Adept at problem solving, conflict resolution and implementing effective solutions
- Flexible and creative in overcoming new challenges on a regular basis
- Knowledge of RF Pathways considered an asset
- Forklift certification and MHE experience (preferred).
- Flexible availability for shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
