We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and organized individual to join our team as a Front Staff/Sales Associate. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and assisting them in selecting the perfect eyewear. You will also manage day-to-day front desk operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Customer Service and Sales**
- Greet and welcome customers with a positive attitude.
- Assist customers in selecting eyewear that fits their needs, style preferences, and prescription requirements.
- Provide information on lens types, coatings, and other available options.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Promote and upsell eyewear products, including frames, lenses, and accessories.
- Can do contact lens training
- Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to store profitability.
- Educate customers on the benefits of different products and current promotions.

**Front Desk Operations**:

- Schedule appointments
- Pre-testing using optometry equipment ( Auto-Refractor, Optomap (Digital Retinal Imaging), Humphrey Visual Field Analyzer, FDT Screening, Non-Contact Tonometer, Lensometer)
- Maintain patient records, including updating information and ensuring confidentiality.
- Manage inventory and stock levels, placing orders when necessary.
- Process OHIP and insurance claims
- Handle basic office tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist in visual merchandising, ensuring displays are attractive and up-to-date.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in retail, sales, or customer service, preferably in the optical industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to handle constructive criticism
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
- Passion for helping customers and providing excellent service.

Pay: $16.55-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
