**The Role**:
As a Registry Operations Manager of Tucows registrar business, you join the Registry Operations team, which maintains domain registry and vendor relationships,communicates technical, policy and cost changes internally, and ensures the efficient management of the business. In this role, you follow industry announcements and collect changes communicated by our registry partners. You then identify how the Tucows wholesale brands will be impacted and work with technical and operational teams to ensure the timely implementation of those changes. Where Tucows resellers are impacted, you coordinate with sales and marketing to convey the significance. A successful team member profits from experience in the domain industry and strong organizational and interpersonal skills to ensure that Tucows can plan and execute changes in an efficient and reseller-friendly manner. You help build a vision for the future of our business

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Expand and maintain the wholesale domain portfolio;
- Act as contact person for our external service providers worldwide;
- Represent Tucows at international domain events and workshops;
- Troubleshoot issues raised by internal teams (i.e. sales, support,fulfillment, etc...);
- Track and implement cost adjustments, contract changes, and revisions to registration eligibility requirements;
- Coordinate between engineering, product management, order fulfillment, marketing, and sales in a truly international team;
- Supervise compliance with vendor contracts and policies; and
- Consolidate accreditations and domain portfolios to simplify the Tucows domains business.

**Key Skills and Experience**:

- University degree or applicable experience required
- Background in the domain name industry or vendor management preferred
- Outstanding leadership, management, and social skills.
- Results-oriented thinking - you do not simply want to identify problems, but also want to resolve them and improve the way things are done.
- The capacity to find solutions to complex problems and to present them in an understandable way.
- A high degree of self-organization and reliability.
- Assertiveness and an ability to learn quickly.
