Senior Tax Manager

Are you an experienced tax professional ready to take the next step in your career? Our TorontoJobs.ca client, a well-established and growing public accounting firm located in North York, is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join their dynamic team.

This is a hands-on leadership role with significant opportunity for growth and potential for partnership.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage tax compliance and planning engagements for a diverse portfolio of mid-market clients across various industries.
- Provide tax advisory services to clients including corporate reorganizations, estate and succession planning, and cross-border tax matters.
- Review complex tax returns and deliver high-quality tax solutions that align with client objectives.
- Collaborate with partners and other managers to ensure exceptional client service.
- Mentor and manage a team of tax professionals, ensuring ongoing development and performance management.
- Stay up to date with current tax legislation and industry trends to ensure clients receive relevant and effective advice.
- Work closely with the firm’s partners on strategic initiatives and business development opportunities.

**Qualifications**:

- CPA designation in good standing.
- Completion of the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program.
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive tax and management experience in a small to mid-sized public accounting firm, ideally with a mid-market focus.
- Proven hands-on experience in both compliance and advisory engagements.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the desire to grow within the firm
