FLINT is growing and is looking for experienced Quality Control Inspectors instrumental in securing bids for various projects awarded and upcoming. Your primary responsibility is to inspect, test, and evaluate various components, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards. The role of a Quality Control Inspector is pivotal in upholding quality, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout the organization's operations. With attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to excellence, you contribute to the overall success and reputation FLINT within the industry.

This is a temporary position located in FLINT's Fabrication shop in Sherwood Park._**
**What would you be doing?**
- Performing quality activities on vessel repair/alterations (AB-40).
- Perform visual and physical checks on final assemblies, including welds, materials, and flange faces.
- NDE coordination, including identification of welds requiring NDE.
- Ensure that all relevant information has been captured, including welding procedures, welder ID, NDE, and redlining.
- Maintain Quality documents according to established Quality manuals and procedures.
- Coordinate with team members on daily functional QC duties
**Does this sound like you?**
- Technical Education (WET or MET) or Journeyperson certification is an asset.
- Thorough knowledge of ASME and CSA code requirements (Canadian Standards Association).
- Have previous vessel repair/alteration experience.
- CSA W 178.2 Level I with job site applicable endorsements
- Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office and Bluebeam.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
