**Duties**
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration
- Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and developmental milestones
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan activities and share best practices in early childhood education
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and individual development plans
- Utilize computer skills for record keeping, lesson planning, and communication purposes
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of children with disabilities or special educational requirements
**Experience**
- Prior experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is a must
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and developmental stages
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and team members
- Organizational skills to manage classroom activities and maintain documentation efficiently
- Leadership qualities to guide young learners confidently while fostering independence
- Familiarity with computer operation for lesson planning, documentation, and communication tools
- Classroom experience demonstrating effective time management and classroom organization skills
