AFTER SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF TRAINING, THE JOB WILL BE PERMANENTLY LOCATED AT OUR LONDON FACILITY AT 120 McMillan St, London, ON N5W 6C6.** **Reporting to the Production Manager, the Shipping Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day administrative tasks for the shipping department.** - Plan, organize and oversee shipping schedules and procedures, resolve shipping-related issues, prepare and submit progress and other reports and co-ordinate activities with other supply-chain work units or departments - Communicate with and organize third party haulage companies; - Call customers and confirm the time for next day delivery; - Update internal and external stakeholders on the status of confirmed and rescheduled deliveries; - Populate and maintain the accuracy of the Dispatch Schedule and assigned trailers; - Prepare documents, serve customers and contact yard staff for order pickups; - Coordinate the activities of drivers and maintenance workers when reviewing repairs needed for trailers; - Coordinate transportation crews and routes; - Put together shipping packages for next day deliveries; - Printing tags; - Collect BOLs and enter them into the commitments sheet and send it to Accounting; - Any other duties as assigned. **Requirements**: - One (1) year of experience in an administrative position; - Knowledge of Excel; able to work in a Google environment; - Multi-tasking; - Ability to work under pressure; - High school or equivalent diploma; - Exceptional organization skills; - Excellent communication skills. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Benefits**: - Dental care - Disability insurance - Employee assistance program - Extended health care - Life insurance - Vision care - Wellness program Schedule: - Monday to Friday Application question(s): - This is an in-person position at our London location.
