**Steve Marshall Ford is Looking to Grow Our Team As a Used Vehicle Reconditioning Technician at Steve Marshall Ford, you'll work closely with our service team. The role requires a solid understanding of automotive systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to use various tools and diagnostic equipment.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform safety inspections on used vehicles, and then carry out repairs and reconditioning
- Perform thorough inspections of vehicles to identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems
- Use diagnostic equipment and tools to assess and troubleshoot issues accurately
- Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, and other automotive systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
- Replace or repair faulty parts, components, and systems
- Maintain detailed records of all inspections, diagnoses, and repairs performed on each vehicle
- Ensure that all repairs meet industry standards and comply with safety regulations
- Conduct quality control checks to verify the effectiveness of repairs and maintenance
- Collaborate with other technicians, service advisors, and parts department to ensure efficient workflow

**Requirements**:

- Automotive technician: 4 years
- BC Driver's License
- Red Seal preferred, but apprentice considered
- Dealership Experience
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Tools required to perform repairs and services

**Wage**:

- $35-$40 per hour; depending on experience

- Position is in Campbell River, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
