Posting Title - CLK 09R - Team Assistant - Position Classification - Clerk R9 - Union - GEU - Work Options - Hybrid - Location - Surrey, BC V4P 1M5 CA (Primary) - Salary Range - $50,190.86 - $56,546.21 annually - Close Date - 5/22/2025 - Job Type - Regular Full Time - Temporary End Date - Ministry/Organization - BC Public Service -> Children & Family Development - Ministry Branch / Division - Service Delivery - Job Summary **The Team** The North and South Surrey Child Protection LSAs form a team composed of two Directors of Operations (Surrey North, Surrey South), four Office Managers and administrative staff, as well as a group of Team Leaders who sit on and off site. This team is responsible for overseeing operations and service delivery to children, youth, and families in North and South Surrey, specifically related to Child Welfare, as part of MCFD Service Delivery. The Team Assistant will work closely with both Directors of Operations to ensure the smooth operation of the office, addressing Ministry and SDA priorities, providing direct support to the Directors with administrative functions such as human resources, payroll, correspondence, calendar and meeting management, records, and facilities. **The Role** In this position, you will ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations related to this team. This includes managing correspondence, tracking various LSA and SDA wide information, coordinating with the larger Surrey North and Surrey South Leadership team as needed, and providing administrative and financial support services directly to the Directors. **Qualifications**: **Education and Experience Requirements** - Grade 12 graduation or equivalent - One year of administrative support experience in an office environment. - Consideration may be given for completion of an Administrative Business Skills course or program as experience equivalency. - Experience providing quality customer or client service, carrying out duties and responding to client needs in a professional manner. - Experience working independently and as a team member with a multi-disciplinary environment and with other professional staff, client and service providers. **Preference may be given to applicants with one (1) or more of the following**: - Administrative experience working with vulnerable children and families in a human/social services setting. - Experience creating and monitoring ongoing tracking systems that ensure adherence to mandated requirements. **About this Position**: A Criminal Record Check (CRC) and Criminal Record Review Act Check (CRRA) will be required.
