**Position Description**:
You will work with a dynamic team of large animal internal medicine, surgery and equine sports medicine clinicians and other faculty to coordinate primary health care learning. You will be supported by an excellent technician and customer service team at Canada’s highest-ranked and one of the world’s top ten globally ranked veterinary colleges.

In addition to your efforts in equine primary care practice, you will support our clinical skills teaching in laboratory sessions dedicated to teaching DVM students’ day-one competencies in equine practice. You will also coordinate and support the required 8-week external experiential learning placements and external large animal core or elective clinical experiences for final-year DVM students. This includes fostering external partnerships and ensuring appropriate training in teaching and mentorship for preceptors hosting final-year DVM students for clinical placements. While this will be predominantly focused on large animal practice placements, you and a companion animal faculty counterpart will be responsible for all experiential learning partnerships and overseeing external core and elective placements, supported by the administrative team within the office of the Associate Dean, Students & Academic.
