Lead Framer

**Job Summary**

**IMPORTANT**: You must be a LOCAL 183 member in good standing.

**IMPORTANT**: Must be Eligible to work.

**IMPORTANT**: Must be experienced in Residential subdivision framing.

**IMPORTANT**: No DRUG & Alcohol problem. Steady & Consistent. Interview IS REQUIRED.

**IMPORTANT**: Must have strong layout ability & read blue print very well.

**Duties**
- Construct and assemble wooden frameworks for buildings, including walls, floors, and roofs.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and heavy equipment to cut, shape, and install materials accurately.
- Train, direct & monitor framer.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

**Requirements**:

- Proven 7+ year experience as a carpenter or framer in the construction industry.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics with strong attention to detail.
- Proven experience as crew leader. Must be able to run at least 4 framers.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks consistently throughout the day.
- Commitment to safety practices on the job site is essential.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
