**As the Community Connectivity Advisor, you will**:
- Liaison with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, and represent the Town in the community, media, conferences/events, and intermunicipal groups as it relates to the Town’s goals for multimodal transportation and community connectivity.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations, including service provision contract management as directed, and planning for community transit and other multimodal transportation initiatives.
- Liaise and coordinate various contractors, funding agreements, bylaws, and service/equipment procurement processes as directed.
- In conjunction with the Director, determine the Town’s annual transit and multimodal transportation budget needs, providing reports with key metrics to build recommendations.
- Develop, monitor, and report key metrics to internal stakeholders, Council and the community as required, to develop recommendations on multimodal transportation opportunities.
- Develop project timelines, milestones, and related metrics for required reporting to any grant funders, Council, and the community, as required. Prepare work plans that provides an overview of all required deliverables and a timeline of all activities.
If many of the following characteristics and skills describe you, we want to meet you
- Bachelor’s degree in transportation or planning, or a combination of equivalent skills and experience
- 2-5 years of experience in public or private sector planning or community services
- Experience with project and policy implementation within a municipal context.
- Meticulous project management and tracking
- Analyzing processes using monitoring equipment and statistical analysis, and collecting, organizing, analyzing data
- Identifying, prioritizing, and implementing projects
- Critical thinking and business acumen
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders using an interest-based approach
