Irrigation Tech Trainee

We are looking for an irrigation tech trainee

**Duties and Responsibilities include (but not limited to)**:

- Assisting technicians with starting up and programming irrigation systems in compliance with city bylaws
- Helping technicians assess system functionality and repair defects
- Assist technicians winterize irrigation systems
- Learn and assist in landscape lighting installation and repairs
- Being part of new irrigation system installation crews

The goal is for you to work with and learn from our experienced technicians and move into your own company truck and perform calls and repairs on your own

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**
- Must be physically fit, hardworking and reliable
- Irrigation experience is an asset but not required.
- Continuing skills training and upgrades are company paid.
- Landscape Lighting experience an asset but not required.
- Willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions.
- This job requires a valid level 5 driver's license, with a clean drivers abstract.

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
